A Seamless Return

Framing the Challenge

The Flagscape app’s information architecture no longer aligned with post-pandemic employee needs. Returning employees needed quick access to health screening and seat booking while maintaining a compliant, healthy workplace, but stakeholders also had competing priorities across other key features.

The Approach

To clarify priorities and establish a clear path forward, I facilitated a 2-day cross-functional workshop to:

  • Align stakeholders
  • Surface pain points
  • Rapidly prioritize

A Matrix for Impactful Decisions

During the 2-day workshop, I introduced a Prioritization Matrix to focus decision-making. Using data-driven insights, we quickly identified the highest-impact features and streamlined the Flagscape app to boost engagement without getting lost in the details.

The Key to a Safe Return

The result was a health screening flow that was adaptable and scalable to meet evolving employee compliance needs. By integrating real-time data, employees could quickly check their health status and provide instant confirmation to security, ensuring a smooth and safe return to the office.

  • A validation sequence that determined entry eligibility based on health-related questions
  • Automatic approval of access when criteria were met
  • Automatic denial of access when criteria were not met
  • Clear next steps for employees with denied entry, including instructions to return home and follow appropriate guidelies
