A Seamless Return

The existing Flagscape app needed a reshuffle. As the UX Researcher, my goal was to figure out where we were and where we needed to go. To do that, I led Task Analysis sessions to understand how employees were using the app. With employees returning to the office post-pandemic, health screening and seat booking were clear priorities. But there were other features we needed to work on too, so I organized a 2-day workshop with stakeholders to identify and prioritize the most important features for fast development. We had to quickly roll out security code generation, COVID health screening, seat booking, and access to the employee directory.

A Matrix for Impactful Decisions

With a handful of features to launch, we needed to quickly prioritize. During the 2-day workshop, I introduced a Prioritization Matrix to guide us in making impactful decisions. By leveraging data-driven insights, we zeroed in on the most important features, streamlining the Flagscape app to boost user engagement without getting bogged down in the details.

The Key to a Safe Return

The health screening flow had to be adaptable and scalable to meet employee health compliance needs. By integrating real-time data, employees could quickly check their health status and provide instant confirmation to security, as required. This streamlined the process, ensuring a smooth and safe return to the office.
